Photo Album Vacations?

These photos are from my old phone, and I really like how my Nexus grouped them together for me. How can I make it so that this always happens when I travel?

If you are reporting location, it should go in there and do it automatically by default. Go check the Google Photos settings though, just to be sure. The Google Photos service is a somewhat hidden jewel... it should get far more attention that it does, it's an incredible free service.

It says the location is on. I live in Oahu though, so I don't think it's big enough for my phone to do it. I'll have to see if it works when I go back home. I'm surprised it didn't group my photos from when I traveled to the big island though.

I found out that you're able to create the map manually when you're creating an album, but it doesn't happen automatically.
