Photo orientation and Dropbox

Ok, I recently switched from S3 to S4. Now when my photos upload to Dropbox, they all display in landscape orientation, despite whether they taken in portrait or not. This never happened with my S3. They photos display on my phone as portrait and they open in other apps (photogrid or instagram, email attachement) in the correct orientation, ONLY in dropbox they come up as all landscape. It's bloody annoying!

I found another thread on hee regarding someone's S3, that was really unhelpful and said "duh, there's no such thing as portrait" (huh?!?!?!)

Any help?

Well, I have tried looking over to my dropbox account about the issue you are talking about and l am sorry but like other said I can't find the think like portrait mode or the landscape mode ever picture opens up over landscape mode over the dropox anyway ! Do you have some screenshots to let us know what you want to do or you are going through because I really have got myself over the confusion .... ??? maybe some screen shots can clear me up about it !

Sorry, not to be disrespectful but the wording of your post is very confusing.
I mean what i say. When i take a photo in portrait mode on my phone, it uploads to dropbox as landscape mode (sideways) and i have to right click and rotate it to get it right way up.

you can see the photos are all in lanscape orientation. the two that are in portrait are one that i edited (cropped) on my phone and saved, and the other is a screenshot. On my phone, in the gallery, they are all shown as the correct orientation. (i.e. the ay the acceleromerter sensed at the time of taking the photo)
