Photon 4g Extended Batteries?

Anyone find or know of any release dates for an extended battery for the photon 4g? Can you imagine it with a 400mah battery like the evo 3d... NICE !

Let me know where to look folks
knock knock...you guys know that you are comparing apples too oranges...i totally agree with a battery slightly higher than the stock battery...but as far as comparing the EVO 4G (it should be called EVO 3G since it defautls at 3G unless your override it to 4G) & the Motorola Photon 4G, these two phones are totally different, processor are differnt families, EVO is a solo core, phonton is a dual core, memory capacity, EVO has 1GB buit-in (512MB with is accessible to user), Photon has 16GB built-in, about 13 GB acessible to user), EVO has a HD display, Phonton has a qHD display...and the list goes on...but what saves power in our world is the fact that is a dual-core which save a lot of power and the fact that motorola has intergrated a lot of power saving features into to phone....of coarse if you just want to compare the two, without thinking where these two are coming from...of coarse the Motorola Photon 4G wins....but the EVO when it all came out, i know everyone here, even myself, we all ran into our local Sprint store, if not pitched camp the day before the release to get our hands on the EVO when it was released, and to take it even further i know we all made all other cell users feel like they all had ****ty phones compared to our EVO's....hahaha....(i think i got my message across now)

so all in all...these two phones are great phones....

as for me, the only reason why i moved up into the Motorola Photon 4G world is because i was sick and tired of how Sprint was Marketing off the EVO by putting there ****ty Nascar app, Blockbuster app, etc...stuff which i don't use and taking half of my user accessible memory with it....and second, yes, you can move apps to your SD card. But have you noticed what it does to your app icon when you do that? every app you move over to SD card, changes the icon from it's original icon to the generate Android icon which kinda bugs the heck out of me when i open my phone to see every other icon like that on my EVO phone. and get this not all apps can run from the SD card anyways...so you were stuff when you have about 20 apps that require space on your internal meory...that just pissed me off....

but with the Photon, you have 13GB of internal user accessible memory, plus the additional on your SD card....dammmmm......they ****en (sorry for my french) sky is the limit here....

so currently i have the phone...but still holding back in getting all the other cool accessories to it...because of the know fact we are talking about here....the battery....

Re: Photon 4g Extended Batteries ???

Just the thought of having my photon on for like 3 days straight is just nuts !!! COME SEIDIO HURRY THE EFFF UP ALREADY SCREW THE CASES WE GOT GORILLA GLASS

Yeah, Gorilla glass... thing is, according to the Corning website (the guys who make it... Gorilla glass), just about every new cell phone since 2010 has it... including the Evo! I saw the list. I'm rough on my stuff, and I'll be needing a seidio or otterbox, thing about the otters though, they never make extended battery cases, to my knowledge. I have a Seidio active extended combo holster/case for my evo and I've dropped it on pavement, from the second floor, with no consequences! I just wish it had color choices! Sage/Olive Drab with black is my choice... you can take the Paratrooper out of the airplane gang, but you can't take the Paratrooper out of the man!

Mac-

seidio's battery has been 'coming soon' since july. I highly doubt it is ever coming.

Im bairley getting 5-6hrsthe out of my battery. I do use it a lot. I even have app killer to shutdown un needed apps. Any battery would be bettee. Not worried about size. Only thing I don't like about this phone.

It seems as though your settings may be for maximum performance instead of maximum battery life, or even 'balanced' for that matter. I just recently switched from the stock launcher to Go Launcher and my battery life went from around me 14-ish hours to 24-ish. Possibly due to not using any widgets.

My battery lasts 18-20 hours now, I could only imagiune what it would be like to have an extended battery. I don't want my phone to be all bulky so the bettery would have to be like the stock one.

Just an update to let everyone know that Seidio is now shipping our Innocell 3500mAh Extended Life Battery for the Motorola Photon 4G.

Just ordered the 1950mAh battery off Ebay. Ran into some power problems on Sunday at the Bears game after a full day of tailgating, in the game I was close to losing power.

Seidio may be too late to get my business. I'm test-driving the 1950 ebay batteries today. So far, they look pretty good. And they were super cheap.

Been there, tried that. The battery is almost too thick to get the back cover on..
The battery seems to last great, then it gets to about 45% and drops straight down to about 17%.. Very odd. Whether it actually lasts longer is hard to tell.
The same thing occurred even after performing a battery recalibration. I put the stock battery back in. My MugenPower 3600mAh battery should be here any day.

I had no trouble at all with the back cover. Didn't even realize the battery was thicked until I laid them side-by-side.

Hard to say if it lasted longer. I just shut down at 15%, I meant to check how long the battery had been discharging, but forgot. I think since about 3pm yesterday, which is pretty good compared to my usual experience.

I watched the temp and voltage pretty carefully yesterday. It ranged from 3.6 to just over 4.0 volts, and from 25c to 27c. The temp is certainly fine. The voltage fluxuation looked like it might be an issue, but I just put the stock battery back in, and it's showing a voltage of 4.081. (Jumped to 4.167 when I plugged it in.) I'll test a couple more days, and see what I find.

I must be doing something wrong, everyone that has this phone says their battery lasts a long time. Mine does not last long at all.

I just received mine this week. Charged it up for the first time overnight, and am still over 70% after three days of moderate use - email, gReader, Usenet, daily alarm and a little browser use, plus turning the phone off at night.

It was a bit pricey at USD $99, but so far I like it.
