Charging on a USB from a computer is about half as fast as charging from a real charger. USB is current limited.I think today is better than yesterday. I plugged it in when it dropped to 15%, and it is charging slowly.
I did some homework and it appears all Motorola phones only report 10% increments. There are some other models from other makers with the same limitation.I dont like that the battery percentage is in increments of 10 though but its not really a big deal
That makes sense. I am charging from the wall, though, not from a computer.Charging on a USB from a computer is about half as fast as charging from a real charger. USB is current limited.
My battery life seems decent. It's been a while since I was on Android, but I decided to switch back for more functionality. I've noticed that my phone is awake a lot, even on very light usage. I have syncing dumbed down and everything. The only social account I have is Facebook, and I've set it to sync only over Wifi which is off most of the time. Additionally, my battery usage shows "phone idle" as the part that's sucking up the most battery (~70-80%). Is this normal, or what's wrong here? I've already reset the phone and it still appears to be doing it. :-\
I have the same high phone idle number. What does that mean?
BTW- am I reading that correctly? it looks like you have about 70% battery left after 10 hours!
