After nine months (of torn meniscus) I was able to do a partial loop, well, out and back to my preferred window on Puget Sound through Madrone trees. Then the next day bike up to Edmonds where Mt Baker was stunning.

I always liked Vermont and New Hampshire and Maine was not too shabby either. Hiking in all three places and downhill skiing in Killington. My great uncle was Sheriff of Burlington many, many, many moons ago!

Recall how I said I really like photographing that opening to the Sound through the Madrone trees. Well, in a timely fashion or Google really is spying on me, Google provided this collage the other day.

Taken with a variety of Pixel phones... I added dates to the various images. Although I now notice one of the dates is bollixed up!

Lunch with home grown cucumber and home made lox. Okay, I purchased the lox. And in The Bronx, where I'm from, it would have been a bagel but I did not have any so Dave's Killer Bread was substituted. Presented just like a professional food stylist!

It turned out to be a most excellent lunch....

Start of what looks to be a gorgeous weekend here. My car was such a mess since it's been a few weeks since I and it cleaned up and now it's squeaky clean

Oh it was so painful waking up the next morning. What wasn't in that photo was the other 5 bottles of wine that our friends brought and yep despite me not having a hangover for ummm years?!?!

I had one heck of a hangover the next day. Good thing my husband offered and did drive the 4 hours back while I was knocked out cold in the passenger seat haaaaa
