Here's a "tiny planet" photo I took. Pretty cool looking.

Sent from my Nexus 4 using Android Central Forums

How in the world do you get photosphere to do this? I've tried and can't figure it out at all, have seen a few of these types of pics and they all look amazing!

you need one that's a full 360, then when you can see the three circles in the bottom left for editing there should be an icon in the bottom right
might be wrong, that's off the top of my head, no 360s on mine to prove it

Man, when you upload photospheres to Google+ it downreses the crap out of them. They are sharp on my phone but blurry as hell on Google+.

And here's the tiny planet version:

Another mini world. At work in the middle of the night. Live trucks. A bit dark but hey still impressive for a phone.

How fast/slow is the shutter on the Nexus 4? Meaning time from button tap to actual picture taken? I assume it's not iphone quick, but is it close?

fairly close, one day Apple will catch up

maybe

Does anyone use the awesome app HDR Camera+? How do the pictures look from that? I love using my phone as a camera, but it seems some of these pictures look a bit dull. Wonderful for editing, but I love the color clarity of Samsung and HTC stock cameras.

the HDR camera setting definitely creates additional sharpness to the pic...it is the only way to use this camera!

I haven't used the N4 yet... But once Ice Cream Sandwich was released (end of 2011), the camera shutter increased dramatically... Even on older devices like my Nexus S 4G... No HDR mode for me, but even this phone is capable of snapping pictures faster than at least the iPhone 4S... I personally tested that with several iPhone's, stock and jail broken...

With that said, I'm sure the N4 with 1.5GB more RAM, 0.5GHz faster with 3 more cores... can easily snap pictures faster than the Nexus S which like I said was already faster than the 4S...

Just my experience ($0.02)

Really liked how this turned out for the bombing memorial.

Downtown Minneapolis could've taken a better one but people were walking in front of me ;)

My panoramas seem like they are much lower resolution. Was this a regular panorama with you holding the phone vertically?

Thanks,

Someone should create a public "group" drop box folder, or G drive, so we can share these photosphere images with each other and get the full 360 experience instead of looking at them flat... I'd do it but I don't have a computer and I don't know how to do it lol
