In the Park this afternoon and I was about to yell at someone for letting their dog off it's leash (strict leash policy because of large, active playground), when I looked closer and realized - hmmm, not a dog! Better grab camera instead!
He/She came right up the street, then turned about 10' before us...

...and slowly trotted by...

...then headed into the woods.

Just a Coyote pup and didn't look very healthy either - only 3:50 PM!

WOW! Talk about right place at the right time. Pretty cool. The zoom comes in handy for these situations.

I think the colours here are phenomenal! What fantastic scenery and a great camera to boot!

That's only 4.0X too... he (she) was only like 20' away trotting parallel to the truck! He was totally unaware that we were there!
