I also just got mine from Amazon for $99, but it works and I love having all my pics, movies and music on local storage, ready to go no matter where I am. I too will hold on to my 3vo for a while longer. Thanks for the heads up on this card. It works great.

That's still a crazy amount of money for a memory card, but having that much storage space must be nice. Hopefully the cards will become cheaper over time. Just a heads-up to anyone that is thinking about buying this type of memory card. Don't buy any cheap knock-offs, like those you would see on Ebay. They are junk. You don't want a knock-off holding your important content. I have learned this the hard way. . .

BHPhoto is selling the Sandisk MicroSD 64GB card for $60 as I bought one from them for my GT7+.

I don't use the online cloud storage because I REFUSE to pay Monthly fees as many services only provide ~2gb-10Gb max of storage space (considering the size of my media/music collection which is much bigger).

Why do people who use cloud storage insist or keep pounding on the fact that it's available without considering the additional cost of having one? Many of us don't want to pay for that online storage when it's simpler, and cheaper in the long term, to just buy the additional storage capacity in the form of a storage card!

Anyone using a 64GB card running Android 4?

I see on Amazon they suggest not trying, the SANdisk card has many issues on Android 4.

As long as your comfortable formatting your microSDXC card either using your phone or your computer you should have absolutely no issues with a 64GB card.

You got a deal. I just bought one At Microcenter in MN for $60.

Anyway, Do what EVO4ken did above. I did same thing. Going into Stroage settings after putting the Scandisk 64gb card into the phone did no help. The only option enabled in the settings was to mount the card and this did no help...obviously since there was not a usable file format on the SD card. It was Microsoft exFAT formatted by default from SanDisk. But the Notification bar came up with an icon that looked like a storage card when the phone rebooted so I opened the notification bar and there was a notification about a storage card and I clicked on it and it asked me if I wanted to format the card. Once I did, then I could upload the backed up files form my PC over USB.

Of course, before all installing the 64gb card into the phone I backed up everything on my 8GB oem (Scandisk brand also) storage card to the PC. Twice. Compared the backups and ensured they matched. I had some really long file names from an app I had on the phone that were too long for windows, but I did not care. They were PNGs from the app of peoples profile pics that I communicated with through the app...it was Zynga app. They will be re-downloaded from Zynga.

Now I have ALL my music, etc. on the phone after syncing with itunes on my PC (using Sync Tunes paid version). Good Luck. Hope this helps!
