Hey guys do I updated my pixel 2 xl to the Android 8.1 preview 2 the most recent one which allows you to turn on sRGB under the developers settings. What does enabling this feature do exactly? I tried to Google it, but can't find anything. I notice this option is only available when I have the colors with the saturated mode on. When using Natural and Boosted this option is not available. Thank you.

Re: Picture color mode sRGB in Android 8.2 preview 2

sRGB is a screen calibration profile which is supposed to represent more natural colors. When I've used sRGB on other phones I've noticed a more muted/ less saturated look with somewhat yellowish whites.

Not noticing a change at all in colors when I toggle it on currently.

sRGB mode on earlier phones (like the Nexus 6P and the original Pixels) is the equivalent to the "Natural" color setting on the Pixel 2/2XL. Probably isn't really active on the Pixel 2/2XL since we already have the Natural, Boosted and Saturated toggles?
