Picture in picture

[Android Central Question]

How do you enable YouTube picture in picture on S10? Do you need a subscription to YouTube? I can't get the video window to minimize in the corner with a button press or hold.

Have you checked to ensure the setting in the app is enabled?

In YouTube, tap your picture, select settings, tap general, the setting is there...

Im having the very same issue. No picture in picture on my S10+ .

From my phone I've into Settings > Apps > Youtube > Picture-in-picture where the option is set to 'Allowed'

From the Youtube app on my phone, I cannot see the settings you outlined above. I am unable to locate 'your picture' from inside the youtube app anywhere.

Im sure this used to work on previous Galaxies that I have owned.

When I said "your picture", I was referring to your account icon (in my case it is a picture of me), in the top right corner. Maybe the YouTube app on the Pixel differs from that on the S10?
