Picture quality on Note 9 is subpar and blurry.

I'm curious what picture size Note 8/9 users are using when taking pictures... The default 4:3 mode or full screen (full view) mode 18.5:9? Or any of the other size options and whether or not that could make a difference in quality.

I never really looked into camera settings on my 8 until reading this thread. But when I take pics recently I like to take it at full screen mode because I want to use the full screen area to see as much of the subject matter I'm taking. But I just assumed that wouldn't effect the number of megapixels in the shot going from 12M to 7.9M. Is that going to effect overall quality and maybe effect processing of picture when it's taken?

Besides wanting to use full screen to see as much of subject matter when trying to take picture, I chose it because when showing pics, most tend to show from your phone anyways and when I'm displaying it you want the picture to show using the entire screen to get that wow factor on the Samsung panel than to use only half the screen showing a 4:3 pic.

But then you want to take the best pic at max resolution and full 12M too right? Below is pic I took on my Note 8 of the Matterhorn last month in Switzerland at full screen mode and think it looks good. But now I realize it was at 7M and still looks great stretched out on my work computer 23" screen but I wonder now if this great shot would have been even a smidge better if I shot it at 4:3 and 12M. Makes me wonder which setting going forward. (Never realized I had option of Save Raw either so I wonder if I should turn on that)

So I wonder what size most people use here.

I keep mine default, but definitely you try other options see how they come out

I tried the full screen and I like the way it looks filling up the screen but the picture is long so I keep mine at default.
