Pictures in the wrong order/date...

Alright this is just fantastic. I turn off my phone for a day and when I turn it back on the next day, all of my pictures I downloaded in order have the wrong dates with some being dates that go way back or way forward from when they were downloaded/taken (ex. A photo from 03/30/18 11:23 shows up as 12/20/16 05:12). I already tried Quickpic with it's option to fix dates and it doesn't work. I absolutely refuse to go through every single picture individually and change their dates either since I have 5000+ pictures/videos. Could someone please help?

We are talking about the file dates, right?
The internal EXIF data dates are still correct?

Alright OP here. The internal Exif data only exists in some files when I ran all my pictures/videos through an exif reader. For the rest of the files, it is as if the data is no longer there.

Ok I'm getting pretty desperate. I literally just downloaded a couple pictures to my SD, turned off my phone, turned it back on, and the same thing happened. The pictures I just downloaded got the dates mixed up. Can someone please help?

Make sure your time/date is set on automatically for the phone , 2nd might be your SD card

It's an LG Aristo. Also the date/time is already automatically set.

Can you back those pictures up somewhere else just in case it's a SD card problem?

I could try to upload my pictures/videos to Google Drive but it may take a while.

No problem , work on that , if someone else can chime in otherwise I say try another SD card.

That SD is also my only portable data storage since all my other USBs/SD cards have projects on them.
