Pictures saved on memory card unable to be viewed on phone.

I bought a 64gb #6 sd card. The pictures I transfered after I installed the card all can be viewed but the pictures I take and save directly to the card can only be seen for the time I keep the camera open. If I later go to post it on Facebook my picture is replaced with a black square with a silhouette and a crack on it. Any ideas of why this is happening? Bad card? Glitch in the software?

Try remounting? It does sound like there's a glitch with it. I've had some issues with deleting photos when I've gotten rid of thumbnails and forgotten to get rid of the actual photos themselves, but nothing like the storage issue.

Do the photos show up if you pull the SD out and put it in a computer?
Do you have any automatic cloud sync going on, such as Dropbox that may not be syncing correctly and losing it?

Im having this same problem with videos that ive put on my SD from my cpu.....driving me crazy!!!!

Any advice would be appreciated----
