Pie or Samsung or Sprints who is to blame?

So just curious what caused the massive security breach for sprint they said yeah samsung but no info I can find about what attack was done and how? So was it thru Samsung's devices or website?

Cause if its devices could be the os security also? I really want to know before I buy my next phone. Anyone here able to help me with info cause theres already so many issues with my s8+ after the second pie update.

The breach was through Samsung's ”Add a line" link on their site, which then accessed the Sprint servers.

As is always the case, these are all server side attacks.

Nothing to do with Pie, or the devices themselves.

If Sprint got breached Sprint is to blame regardless of what tactic they used to get in.
