Pie update has been a huge determinant to my Note 9's ram management.

After getting the UI update on my att unlocked Samsung galaxy Note 9 I have noticed that apps that I could previously keep open and come back to without a hiccup are now crashing and resetting. Very frustrating. I'm pretty OCD about keeping junk off my phone constantly, I do a factory reset every 2 months. I take exceptional care of my devices. So this has me baffled....please help

What apps? I haven't had a single such occurrence, so this can't be typical. I'm guessing app related.

Be specific as to which. There’s even a list in Device Management if problems encountered, looks like text icon.

Some apps work after uninstall / reinstall while others really aren’t yet fully compatible with Pie.

Cleared the cache partition? Helps. Two months between factory reset is over the top. Maybe this once skip restoring from backup though.
