Android Central Question

Just got the long-awaited Pie update on my Galaxy 9+. My battery life fell off a cliff. It used to be awesome. I have a lot of apps, but all are set to be asleep until I need them. My battery used to last 35-40 hours. Since the update yesterday, I am barely getting 15. I am NOT happy. A reset did not help.
Please help!!

Welcome to Android Central! It'd help to see your battery stats. Charge up to 100%, then let it drain to 20-30% with normal usage, without charging in between. Then show us:

1. The main Settings>Battery screen.
2. The fullscreen battery graph screen (which shows Awake time and Cell Signal Strength).
3. The Screen category (to see total Screen On time).
4. The Cell Standby category, if present (to see Time Without Signal).

You might have to install a 3rd party battery monitor, like GSam Battery Monitor, to get the Cell Signal Strength graph.

Too soon to judge. A lot of widgets churning things for first 3-4 days. Always helps to clear cache partition after that. Had the some with my 9+

It seems like there is a problem with your mail client. Maybe try clearing the cache and setting it up again?

Also, JStream has not been updated in THREE years. Probably not fully compatible with Pie.

You might want to uninstall and reinstall - can help. Or write developers while seeing if there's an alternative.

Sometimes, A works fine. B does too. But put them together and there is mischief to pay.
