PIN lock annoying me after DL09

To get my company email (Exchange) I had to accept security policies. One of those made me change my PIN. Before updating the phone would only lock after turning on or rebooting. Now I get the PIN lock after a period of time and it's getting annoying.

I also use pattern unlock which is what I prefer. I get it whenever the screen goes off. At least PIN lock doesn't kick in ALL the time.

Is there anyway I can prevent the PIN lock except for when first turning on the phone?

If it matters, I'm rooted and debinged.

In addition to eliminating the lockscreen it eliminated the need for me to input the IT policy PIN to access my corporate exchange account.
