Yes, it does. DP2 will receive the update via the Beta channel, not the regular update channel.

What little bit I know is turns on the hidden processor for the camera and 3rd party apps, security updates for vulnerabilities with Krack ect , subtle tweaks to the launcher, I'm sure there's more I'm not aware of

Ok I think you edited your post because I was just about to say my camera Hal has been activated for a little while now. Ok that makes sense.. We didn't get a "real deal" update before so I was kind of mirroring it with that. But cool!!

Yeah.... Originally I thought you only had a security patch didn't realize you were on beta

Looks like it since you already have the major components...I think their are apx 19 security patches and whatever fixes you need.

So Camera HAL HDR+ enabled is how you know the chip is enabled?

Got it yesterday via OTA - Verizon version 64gb kinda blue - Houston TX - 512mb file.

Same phone but no update. I just switched from my Moto g5 plus to the kinda blue pixel 2 for the updates plus amazing speakers. But nothing yet.
