I had to switch to Nova because the Pixel launcher wouldn't play fair with the immersive mode app I installed. Territorial little p****, that Pixel launcher. I do miss the at-a-glance widget, tho.

Download Another Widget from the Play Store. Works exactly the same as At-A-Glance from the stock launcher.

Sure. It's from The Verge. Those guys really have great aesthetics for reviews.

There are two different ones I've uploaded. One is a bit more vibrant than the other. I like both, but find the more muted one works better as a homescreen as the app icons then stand out on top of it.
Using the other one it all gets a bit lost in neon haha.

And yeah I agree that's why I always tend to do that.
Sometimes it's difficult to understand how a background will look when it's on a computer screen. Also, the pic didn't really do it justice as it does look much better in real life!

I agree! Sometimes it's so hard to visualize what a setup will look like by just the screenshot.

Here's my wallpaper of the day.
It's an image I made today with my Pixel 2 XL 128.
It's a life size bust of Beethoven that sits on my bookcase.
The bust was made from a life mask made during Beethoven's life.
Everyone at that time said that it was the best likeness of him!
