Thanks a lot! This is awesome! Love your wallpaper and widgets!
Sorry for being nosey, but what's that icon under Keep?I'm starting to like DC superheroes a lot more now!
But I'll always be a Marvel fan at heart.

Beautiful CynthiaCan't keep Zedge wallpapers for very long - I almost always have to have my lockscreen/homescreen picture be of my cat!
I got these wallpapers from an app called Amoledwalls. I love the clock widget it has shortcuts to apps I need to access several times a day. View attachment 308508
Lol. That's hilarious. I would have no idea. The pic is great. I like your homescreen. With Android 10 being fresh I'm giving the stock launcher another go. Photo is from my last trip to Maine (business). I thought this thing was a cool looking forward but thanks to Google lens I find out it's an invasive weed in the States but originally from the UK. Lol. Thanks decided not to bring one home with me.![]()
What were you using before as a launcher? Has anything changed apart from the gestures? How are you liking the experience? With Android 10 being fresh I'm giving the stock launcher another go. And I see there are no icon labels. Is that a new feature? I could never do that when I tried the Pixel Launcher out a few months ago. With Android 10 being fresh I'm giving the stock launcher another go. Photo is from my last trip to Maine (business). I wasn't a fan of the stock launcher from the previous version so I was using Nova over the last year or so. Stock launcher obviously doesn't have near the amount of gestures as Nova does but I do like it. Only complaint I have (which I've mentioned in other threads) is that you still have to reach all the way to the top of the screen to swipe down for notifications. When I was using Nova I had that controlled via just a regular swipe down on the screen. And I see there are no icon labels. Is that a new feature? You inspired me to consider giving the Pixel Launcher another shot. So I have as for 4 reasons:I wasn't a fan of the stock launcher from the previous version so I was using Nova over the last year or so. The "back" gesture is really nice once you get used to using it.
As for icon names, that's something I didn't actually notice as being different bc I had my Nova set up the same way. Probably the biggest thing I miss using stock vs Nova is actually the app drawer. I really don't like having just all my apps all in one screen so on Nova I have folders in my app drawer. With stock, if I want folders I have to use my home screens.
Oh yeah, there's A LOT that the stock launcher is missing that Nova has but I'm just dealing with it for the time being. You inspired me to consider giving the Pixel Launcher another shot. So I have as for 4 reasons:
1) So many still insist this Launcher is amazing. This absolutely mystifies me but I imagine I am missing somethng.
2) I might find things I didn't know we're not working as nicely are now working better. I've never had UI problems w Nova that others complain about, but maybe I am unaware of how it should work? Also, there are a lot of annoying non-UI glitchy things that have to do with Google Assistant and Services and perhaps this will inexplicably allow it to work better? It shouldn't but sometimes there are weird fixes that make no sense and... Whatever. #wishfulthinking
3) I want to try out the new Gestures feature. So far I am not finding it to be any more handy than the2-button nav, BUT I do like how it looks better. I also am liking the side swipe... so far.
4) I've heard Google weather in the At a Glance is quite accurate compared to other weather services. I havent been totally happy w any other services.
***BUT***
I miss a LOT from Nova. I know a lot of that is just getting used to something new. But some of it... I don't get it.
1) Like you, I reeeeeeally hate having to reach my thumb all the way to the top. Sliding down on the screen just seems obvious. #cmongoogle
2) Can I really not change icon packs?
3) Let me get rid of that dumb up arrow above my dock. Really? It has to be there????
4) Also like you, I miss app search function. I've never seen a better one. Google tries to figure out other apps you might want and offers them below seeming to use an algorithm rather than common sense (I.e. most common, recent and new). Google seems to think Algorithms will save the world when sometimes it's just silly.
5) I reeeeally hate that I cannot move the At a glance "widget".
There is sooooooooo much more that I annoys me but those are the things that float to the top. LOL
