Pixel 2 durability :( (bend test complaint)

It has already been explained to you why there is a plastic coating on the back. If you don't like the reasoning, don't buy it! Move on to something else like the note 8 or lg v30. Then when those don't get updates, or start to lag, just desk with it, ok?

Well it's a total 360 move from the premium metal build from the previous Pixel. People have the right to complain, especially when it costs $1100.

HA!!! I have NO intentions of wearing skinny jeans!

And if you're wearing skinny jeans, and you're dumb enough to put ANY phone in your pocket you get what you deserve.

Does anyone remember the issue with Apple's iPhone 6? #bendgate It'll crack and someone's going to be upset, probably isn't covered under warranty because it counts as physical damage.

No. Absolutely false.

I watched the video, why would you attempt to convince me of something that is easily proven false?

If you think the phone is vulnerable, don't buy it. If you don't like the phone, don't buy it.

At this point your behavior is bordering on trolling.

Plastic is weak. They had a design flaw, didn't even think about it. Zack exposed their flaws, it's his job. Hopefully their next phone won't bend after they see the video. They're probably gonna attempt to sue Zack I bet you.

You do know the P2 is metal right? And you do know he tested a small Pixel not the XL which does not cost $1100 right? And you do know the P2 xl has a magnesium stiffening subframe which he didn't test right? And even the P2 with it's metal body and magnesium subframe doesn't cost $1100 right?

And finally you do know if you don't like it you don't have to buy it, Apple will gladly sell you an iPhone....

Who in the world thinks this guys channel is useful?

His torture doesn't mimic any real world stuff I've ever put any of my phones through.

I think they are great and help the consumer recognize possible defects or weak points be it the build, screen hardness, flash build material etc

Why are you defending a defect?
If you think the phone is indestructible don't watch his videos

No one thinks these phones are indestructible, however nothing jerryrig does is remotely close to anything that would happen in a real world scenario.

He always goes above and beyond what would be normal wear issues. However I do enjoy his videos. I wouldn't have seen how the coating on the back is scratch able as well as some other stuff. He's no more ridiculous than you tubers who drop phones from ridiculous heights or strap them to their leg and jump from a high dive into a pool.

Well I personally carry my phone in a pocket that could possibly have tiny granules of sand. And I also might put a phone in a back pocket so the scratch test and bend test are very relevant to me and I'm sure other people.

You are so bitter about the Pixel and the price...he tested the Pixel 2, a $650 phone. Why must you keep assuming it's over $1000? Ugh, you are so annoying.
