The Pixel 2 event really bored me.

HTC phone squeeze Technology was not innovative back then nor is it now. people complain about pressing the Bixby Button by accident when they pick up the Note8. If the whole phone Sides is a pressure button - whoa.

Camera is ok. not to much different. Still limited by the 4k 30 fps limit like the Note8.

The rest is software that should come to all Android phones.

I guess there is something for everyone. There is a guy at work that LOVES his pixel, basic android system, bevels and all. Not for me- I pre ordered the XL when it came out and ended up wrapping it and returning it about an hour after playing with it.

Love my Note 8, best phone I've had in years. That being said; the V30, Pixel 2XL and iPhone X are all fantastic devices. You can't go wrong with any of them.

I stopped reading after seeing this
"" camera is ok ""

I guess we wanna believe what we can.

That's his opinion yours can differ he likes his note 8 better ...so do I what's your point

I think the XL 2 is nice. But I'm sticking with my Note 8. I'll be getting one to play around with but I'm so tied to Samsung with Samsung Pay, S-Pen and Secure Folder that I'm stuck (in a good way) .

@ 1:20 mark... "No Bixby!" lol.

My first Android was a Nexus 4 so I have a soft spot for pure Android experience. Specs are flagship, best camera, dual speakers, probably will be the smoothest running Android phone available and guaranteed updates for three years to Android R. FPS in the right spot. It will probably win best Android phone of year... edging out the Note 8?

I don't like it when devices are dissed before even being used/tested.
To me, after I test/use a device, I can then give constructive feedback...

Huh we've seen all the videos an i no I'll pass...got the best phone of the year to me ....note 8 an it's side kick s8 plus

Personally I think the Pixel phones are boring. And if I'm going to use a boring phone, it may as well be iPhone. That way i'll at least have access to iMessage, seamless integration with my other Apple devices, a greater selection of accessories, and more polished apps.

I agree they are kind of boring. I have a Nexus 6P and used it for a year or so. Good phone that was easy to root, but not really a great phone, like my S7E or Note 8, at least in my opinion.

I was an HTC guy for a while too, but Samsung phones I was around just blew them out of the water in a lot of ways. So I'd have trouble buying anything made by HTC, personally. Lack of head phone jacks and no expandable memory are more reasons the Pixel line holds zero interest for me.

I would say this phone isn't special and quite average, no 2017 standard, the best part is the 3 years updates and camera, as it offers nothing more than the S8 or Note 8, it offers much less tbh.

I wouldn't buy any high-end phone now, as no one serves an upgrade to Mate 9, but if i had to buy a phone now it will never be the pixel 2, it just not a good offer at that price.

Stick with your Note 8 then :). I personally want updates and that sweet sweet camera :D.

Only problem is testing or using EVERY phone. So we have to decide and give feedback on what we read and see. If your lucky enough to get your hands on every phone and bet able to afford them, great.
