Pixel 2 XL got hot and is stuck on white screen.

My Google Pixel 2 ran hot, went dark and when I did the rest (held down power button & bottom valume button) but now it's stuck on a white screen with the G on it. I have a picture to share.

Press-and-hold the Power button until the phone turns off. Leave it sit for a couple of minutes and then turn it on normally and see if it boots correctly.

And if it doesn't, you may have to reflash the firmware (Deuces Bootloop-Recovery & Flashing Script P2/P2XL for the flashing script, Google | Factory Images for Nexus and Pixel Devices for the firmware)

You won't lose anything - when it asks Format Userdata[Y/N]?, hit N.
