Pixel 2 xl swipping issue

[Android Central Question]

I just got my pixel XL 2 and absolutely love it but few problems.
One is touch sensitivity. When I use Instagram and try to swipe right to see multiple photos post it's really not working well* I have to swap slowly and from first position which is Bry annoying.
oh and yeah lock screen swap up to unlock sometimes doesn't work.
I updated 8.1 but still. Anyone know solution? Or should I just wait till Google fix?

Welcome to Android Central! I recall seeing some other reports about sporadic swipe/touch sensitivity issues. Do you have a screen protector on? Does this also happen in Safe Mode? https://support.google.com/pixelphone/answer/2852139?hl=en

no scrren protector and it's happened in instargram only.

But you also mentioned that swiping to unlock from the lockscreen also doesn't work well, so it may not just be Instagram. Safe Mode would disable Instagram, so you wouldn't be able to test that out, but you should at least be able to see if the problem with swiping to unlock still persists.
