Pixel 2 XL to Galaxy S10/10+. Anyone taking the plunge?

I pre-ordered a Galaxy S10+ today and will be trading in my Pixel 2 XL. Love the Pixel but was continuously frustrated by erratic Bluetooth connectivity issues. Anyone else taking the plunge? Looks like an exciting phone.

I've had my 2 XL for little over a year, and if I'm being honest it's pretty tempting. The S10 looks amazing, but my Pixel has only gotten better with time, so it wouldn't make any sense to buy a new phone with this one working as well as it does.

I don't think I will be looking for a new phone until the next versions of Pixel or Galaxy S.
I haven't observed any erratic Bluetooth connectivity problems what so ever with my Pixel 2 XL. (primarily Pixel Buds)

Have had my Pixel 2XL for close to a year now and no urges yet to upgrade.......I think I'll be ready for the pixel 4.

First phone I've had in a long time that I have had for a year and not wanted something new.

Camera is still great. Battery life is still good. Figured out how to stop the phantom buzz/notifications. No complaints.

Still not a huge fan of Samsung software, and I happen to be one of the people who like bezels to have something to hold. So, I'm good for now.

I've had my pixel 2 XL for a little over a year now.

It's just as fast now as it was when I got it. Battery easily gets me through a full day. In fact I can get 7 hours of screen time and still have 10% or more battery left at the end of the day. There are monthly software updates and security updates. The camera is phenomenal and probably is the second best camera available now, behind the pixel 3.

All these things are stuff that Samsung owners cannot claim.

So, no, I will not be taking the plunge to an S10.

I won't be upgrading my personal phone but will likely get the S10 for work as the Pixel 3 doesn't interest me. Hopefully the Pixel 4 will get it right which will be my personal upgrade.

I'm good with my Pixel 2xl. Zero interest in Samsung phones. I'll probably pick up a Pixel 4xl (and really hope they put a telephoto lens on the back.)

Get what right? I'm using the Pixel 2XL and it's right as can be. That's why I passed on the P3XL. My phone is faster than the day I bought it new because I tweaked it a bit. 128gig sshd is more than enough for my cellphone purposes. My battery goes all day and most the night on most days and on really busy days 15 minutes on charger takes it to bedtime and i don't use dark mode to save battery. I've also never had any Bluetooth issues or screen burn in. It's camera more than suits my cellphone camera needs and Nightsight expanded it's uses even more. If i want a different experience I can switch launchers with a few tapes of my finger and have most anything i need or can think of.. Why switch? It ain't broke and don't need fixing.
It will be interesting to see what the Pixel 4 will be up to.....

"SSHD" is the abbreviation used on computers with a hybrid solid state and platter drive (similar to Apple's Fusion drive but in a single unit). SSD is for pure flash storage as in phones, but there's no need to indicate the storage type in phones as they're all flash-based...

No way! I loved the S2-4 but the bloat got to be too much. Pixel or Motorola for me. Plus I really like the natural colors on the P2XL. I'm going to try to hold out for the P5. Or at least wait til the 4 comes out then drops in price or has a Fi deal if they ever do that again.

No,the S10/10+ doesnt interest me. I still have my Pixel 2 XL, pre ordered on release day, its working great for me.

The way phones have jumped in price .
I actually research them now more then ever before.

I didnt even get the Pixel 3, have I not had the Pixel 2 probably would have.
As of right now I will be following the info of the Pixel 4 until its release and possibly update to it
