Mike, how are you getting portrait mode images to stay in portrait mode? I tried to post a portrait mode image and the forum posted it in landscape mode. I had to immediately delete it. So what is the secret to posting in portrait mode?

I did it through the app....it gets me wrong sometimes too.

I have to admit one thing....the portrait mode itself is better on the 3 series compared to the 2 series that I'm used to. I haven't seen any fringe areas where it gets it wrong.

It would be nice if there was an icon to continually flip an image 90 degrees at a time until you were at the orientation you wanted. I'm used to having that on some sites.

You can always yell at the kids to get off your lawn....great stress reliever

Leaving the leaves on the ground threw the winter is like insulation .
Cut the leaves in the spring.
Grass will be super green.

Got a 5' fence and a dog.
Kids don't stand a chance.

Leaving leaves kills the lawn and makes it look patchy.

Handheld night shot on auto HDR. Simply impressive. So excited for the night mode to come out

Wow. These photos turned out great.
Are there any photographers, amateur or professional, here who prefer the a Pixel 3 to a traditional camera?

For me it's a no, but it would depend on what kind of photography you're into.
I'm mainly doing birds and wildlife, so the phone can't compete with a 600mm focal length.
For landscapes on the other hand, I can see the benefit of the built in HDR on the Pixel, vs. bracketing in camera and then stitching the photo together in Lightroom afterwards.

I'll be testing out the Pixel 3 vs. conventional dSLR on a trip to New Mexico this week.
Btw, I'm just an enthusiast, not professional.
