Pixel 3/3 XL-Share your photo(s) here!

Finally got a decent shot of my little pal. You can see its little tongue sticking out. Shot with the main lens (no Moment lens, didn't have time to screw it on), cropped, auto-enhanced by Google Photos. (Excuse the grimy windows -- I blame the California wildfires.:'()

It isn't easy getting them to hold still and smile! (g)

Wow, I never thought I'd say an outhouse looked nice... But here I am, saying it.

It is kind of a cute, oddball one. We have some fairly unique ones that are basically a seat and lid with no surrounding building - some with incredible views.

At least they're nicer than the ones we have here... "Outhouse" is way too fitting a term for them!

Some more Seattle. Myrtle Edwards Park. The iconic controversial sculpture (https://www.heraldnet.com/news/nude-male-statue-for-seattle-has-some-seeing-red/) at the entrance of the Olympic Sculpture Park (the fountains generally cloak one or the other statues alternately, slowly unveiling one and slowly covering the other, but get turned off when too windy) In one is the other controversial sculpture "Adjacent, Against, Upon" placed in the park way back in 1976 (the year after I arrived in Seattle): https://www.historylink.org/File/10695.l I recall kayaking past it after it had recently been installed and thinking "What the hey!!!!" It has grown on me over the years.

And then in a fit of I'm not sure what although possibly the second photo explains it (I made rhubarb syrup for gin cocktails) ... A friend sent me a link to an Outdoor Research (outdoor clothing) article on the History of Plaid. So, I decided to oblige.

This camera still amazes me!! I'm primarily using the Galaxy Note 10+ as my daily driver and love it, but there are times I take a pic and it just looks off to me. So every once in a while I get out the Pixel 3 and do a little camera comparison, usually just some indoor pics of my dog, which is black (this is the first time I've had a black dog and am finding they are challenging to photograph!), and I am blown away between the difference in shots. Here are just a few samples ...

I love everything else about the N10+, but picture quality is certainly one of the reasons I may eventually jump back to a Pixel

Today's hike to Ingalls Pass along the eastern (hot) slope of the Washington Cascades. The images: Ingalls Peak with Larches, Mt Stuart with Larches, A section of open hot trail, Mt Rainier and in the center of the left skyline but pretty small, Mt Adams

Spectacular view. Great shots!

Thanks. It is a favorite location to see the Larch trees at this time of year. But each year it becomes more of a workout!!! And I did it about a week after another birthday. (g)
