Yup, sounds about right. That's what they told me last year with the free Home Mini. They ended up giving me a credit to buy my own because they just couldn't get the promo offer to work right.

How are you Verizon folks getting your phones already? I ordered from Verizon as well, but it was shipped 2 day and it's coming tomorrow. So jealous!

I will have the same problem tomorrow. Hopefully if I miss the delivery they will allow me to hold for pick-up. The following I am home but will be getting an MRI in the early afternoon. With my luck I will miss the shipment by 10 minutes
I forgot which phone it was, either Nexus 6 or One plus One phone. I missed the FedEx driver by like 10 minutes, called FedEx about it and the driver was nice enough to come back later that day to deliver the phone for me.

On Fedex tracking it said it was scheduled for tomorrow. Then this morning I got a notification that said it was out for delivery. This never happens with Fedex for me. Guess I got lucky.
Haha, yup. I was so surprised He came back. Was on the way back from an appointment when he came. Got the notification on my phone that I missed the delivery on the way home. I literally drove around my neighborhood to see if I can find him before calling FedEx. haha.

Pre-ordered a Pixel 3 XL (64Gb/Black) on October 12th and got an estimated delivery date of 10/24-24. Received shipping info email on 10/16. Expected delivery date of Thursday, 10/18 by end of day. I am happy it is arriving one week earlier than expected.

Same here... I'm a little disappointed. I checked with FedEx and they have not received the package. Currently in contact with Google Support to figure out what is going on...

If the package is on a FedEx Express truck, not Ground and it isn't too late in the day, you can call 800-GO-FEDEX and request a delivery re-attempt. The driver will come back unless he/she has already returned to the station and clocked out.

I'm in the same boat as you. But I wonder if maybe they're closer to the hubs the phones are shipping out of.
Where I live, it's like that line from the movie Oh Brother Where Art Thou "two weeks from everywhere".

Pre-ordered my Pixel 3 a couple of hours after it went up on the 9th, other than the initial confirmation email, no movement at all on my order. Still says Oct 25-26 :'(
