FedEx dude just came by.
Left me my Pixel 3 XL.
Phone showed me what to do.
Did it with the phone cables.

Ok, the chat function was available when I tried again. Got the $25 credit. I have to chuckle though seeing stories today about how well Google has handled the pre-order this year just because Verizon customers are getting their phones. No, Google totally screwed up the pre-order again this year by sticking it to the people who ordered from the Google store during or soon after the announcement in order to get Verizon customers their phones regardless of when they ordered.

There are bigger things to be outraged over than a phone arriving 2 weeks later than it was supposed to, but this is pretty dang annoying.

Google store order here.... Arriving about 5 days earlier than they committed to.

I ordered during the announcement from Google Store unlocked and got it yesterday. I also selected Expedited shipping and must have just been one of the lucky few. ><

This is truly unbelievable.I left work a half a day early got on the train hopped in the car and speed off to my house. I got to my door and FedEx got there before I was able to turn the key in the door.... what luck!!

Mine was scheduled for today now FedEx says tomorrow but it's here in NJ

Hmm. Weird. Maybe it's certain models? I ordered the 64GB smaller Pixel in White. I would assume they filled orders in the order they were received, but it would seem odd they'd run out of that model on orders placed a couple of hours after the announcent.

Well geez. I don't understand this at all.

If you go through the order process in the Store now, it says shipped by Oct 23rd, but my preorder won't get to me until Nov.9th? Goofy.

I'm sure , it's made by Samsung the best displays on the market.
I'm annoyed that it was scheduled for today and getting it tomorrow , that's on FedEx part not Google.


Edit: I have my case and protector though it came today.

Mine still shows expected delivery date of today, but never showed arriving in the area nor on the truck for delivery. I wonder if it got lost or stolen. I hate to think of the nightmare to get Google to ship another phone.

I was just typing that I hope my case gets here before I go out and the text came through saying it's delivered so it must be outside my door.
Good thing because I fumbled it as it was charging I went to pick it up and the cable hung up and I almost dropped it but it would have fell on the carpet

I'm sure , it's made by Samsung the best displays on the market.

Wow talk about close call...dude don't leave without putting that case on or protector. I had that happen one time with another phone that feeling like when your on a roller coaster when it goes down from it's inclined , part of you still stuck on the top while the other part is down with you and after it's all said and done just laugh at yourself to think that was a close call .
