[Pixel 3A] Right side of the keyboard stopped working

Can't type P or use backspace. For whatever reason it started working again for a few hours, then - gone again. Any tips?

Restarting, switching from Gboard to Swift doesn't help.

First thing is to give your screen a good clean. Next, make sure you aren't touching the screen inadvertantly anywhere else. If that doesn't help try safe mode.

If it still persists after all that, the digitizer is probably dying.

The clue here that it isn't software related is you get the same behavior on multiple software. I agree, screen is probably going.
