Pixel 3a Screen Separating from Frame?

First, I wanna apologize for the photo quality here. Took it with my girlfriend's Note 8 and the darn thing didn't want to focus.

A few days ago I picked up a used 3a and all was fine and dandy. The last day or two I've noticed the top left corner of the screen keeps popping up as shown in the photo. The screen still works perfectly, phone's frame isn't bent, and the battery is fine. (I'm thinking it was dropped by the original owner and popped out then.)

I was curious what your suggestions to fix are? Obviously theres no warranty. I press it back down, it holds for a few, then pops back up. I've heated it up with a hair dryer and clamped it down to see if it'd stick once the glue cooled again, no luck there. Considering using a WEEEE TINY AMOUNT of Superglue and going around the edge of the glass, then pushing it back down in there for a bit and holding it until the glue dries. May be a mistake though, which is why I'm here! :D Thanks for your time!

Hi, welcome!
I'm not sure much can be done about that without a screen replacement, had that happen on my s10+ when it was new not as severe but they replaced the screen under warranty.

A lot depends on what you want or expect next. If you want any kind of warranty help from Google then I wouldn't try any how repair. If you are perfectly OK with eating the cost of the phone and a new phone if if goes bad then you could try some glue and / or super glue. I was shocked when I did my first screen replacement and stopped at a local phone repair shop to ask about what kind of adhesive they used and the tech said...."don't repeat this...we just use super glue". Yikes! But I'm sure it holds good if you have no expectations of ever trying another repair.

I was thinking of taking it to a shop and just having them do the screen and a new battery all at once.

I would stay away from that repair shop, wow!

Realistically, I'll probably only keep it for about 3-5 months anyway. Ill be without a phone for a few days if it breaks, sure... But I'm not crazily concerned about it if that makes sense. I just want a seal around it so that dust doesn't get down in there if the screen continues to separate, ya know?
