Pixel 6 & 6 Pro screen protectors

I keep reading a lot of issues with FPS with or without screen protectors...

I'm using LK film sp no issues whatsoever. The only phone that didn't give me problems with TEMPERED GLASS was my old Samsung Galaxy A52 5G. As much I dislike FILM it works.

I too dislike film protectors (or, prefer tempered glass screen protectors, anyway) -- but boy oh boy, do they work! I ended up exclusively using them on my Samsung Galaxy S10.

Just installed my Dome glass and this thing rocks. I liquid dropped down further than the center a touch but I managed to bring it back up to cover the entire phone. It recognized one fingerprint automatically and I knew I would have to do the other one over because it never recognized but this is way better than the Zahara that had that ugly fingerprint circle which turned the screen a different color when looking at the phone. Sold for life on this. Thanks for the tips guys.

WSD has been awesome for my P6P. Just ordered one for my P6. Enter code "THANKYOU21" for an additional 20% off....

I haven't done the liquid adhesive on a phone. Is this removeable like other glass protectors if it should crack? Is there any residue or anything left behind that alcohol wouldn't get rid of?

Yes its removable, might need heat if its been long time on and residue can be cleaned as you mentioned

I finally received my shipping confirmation from Whitestone. It's been a week and a half or so since ordering. It'll be here Monday. Looking forward to putting it on my Pixel 6 Pro.

Are people still liking the Mowei tempered glass on the 6 Pro? I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on that one because I'm noticing tons of micro scratches on my phone's screen. Way more than any other phone I've had previously.

My Whitestone Dome for my Pixel 6 Pro arrived. I haven't decided if I'm going to put it on yet or wait awhile. The UniqueMe soft tpu screen protector is working fine, feels good, and the fingerprint sensor is working great.
No real need to rush.

Or you can wait and use the Whitestone Dome screen protector as a back-up when the other one breaks!

Considering that the screen protector currently on my phone is essentially clear vinyl it will be a long time before it "breaks".

Worth a try , hopefully quality glass protector and glue

I'm on the fence for a possibly stupid reason. I bought a bunch (5 left) of TPU screen protectors. In my case, the protector gets worn out after a few weeks - around the keyboard and higher up in the center. I haven't seen anyone post about that. But they last about 4-6 weeks. I'm thinking I should use up the TPU ones. But... why?

I don't know. I'll probably buy the glass on Amazon. Go for it.

I have noticed the TPU protectors after a few weeks rough up a little it is not as slick/smooth as new.

Really? I have had one on my Pixel 2 (backup phone now that i have my P6) for years. Probably the original one I put on. I use Skinomi brand and do the wet install. They have lasted forever for me. I skin the back also and never use a case.

I've had very good outcomes with that Skinomi brand. The one on my P6 went on day one and is still flat with no bubbles.

Interesting. Mine are the kind that have some sort of adhesive, not wet install. I have no bubbles. It's just that they get worn areas that look bad, affect the clarity a little. Maybe I need to try the wet install. I'll have to pick a route when I use up the 5 I have. I might replace it a little sooner. MIne is already showing wear after 10 days.

Funny aside - when I first put a new one on, the surface is so slick that my finger sometimes slips off the FPS before it can register.
