It's not.any info on pixel 6a celler modem? and if it has some in newer ?
The Google Fi phones come with a Fi physical sim card. Of course you can switch it out (I assume) or download an esim from your carrier. The 60 Hz rate has been fine on my 5a but maybe I'm just a normal everyday guy. I'm waiting for the 7a but excited to see the 6a pre-order with Tensor chip.
To anyone considering any Pixel, if you're thinking of upgrading or switching carriers, I'd suggest looking at the Google Fi offer for the various Pixels at reduced pricing. My 5a is like $15/month and the 6a is offered the same way.
It's probably the same modem that is used in the P6 and the P6P.can you be more specific? please

Yes, you are correct. It's probably the same modem that is used in the P6 and the P6P.

That's what I wrote. Thanks for the confirmation. You can either use the physical SIM from Google Fi or download the eSIM which is what I did. I use physical SIM for my AT&T line.
I pulled the trigger. I have a 3a XL that I use as a backup, which I bought refurbished last year for $90 (after my 3 XL died). The 3a line got its last system update a couple of months ago, so this is the right timing. And being able to reduce the cost of the 6a to $149 (and to get a free pair of Buds A) is pretty awesome!
I'll either use the 6a as a wi-fi device around the house, or see if my wife wants to try it instead of her Pixel 5.

There is a YouTube video showing a few individuals using the FP sensor to unlock the 6A even though they do not have any of their fingers registered on the phone. Doesn't look very good. Another video states that the phone overheats after 10 minutes of video recording? I haven't found any complaints about cell reception...yet. So I am not sure what to think. I want to pre-order but I am just not willing to do so until far more end user reviews become available that address these serious issues.
I think we all will be testing.Interesting. Are these pre-release units, or wide-release ones? I'll see if I encounter any of those issues (although I probably won't be inserting a SIM).
