Pixel 7

I hope we get face unlock and a brighter screen. Pixel's are always lacking in too many key areas IMO.

I'd like a mixture of Face Unlock and in-display fingerprint sensor, like my S10. I do love the rear fingerprint scanner from my Pixel 5, but I'd like to have both options readily available.

I really wish Google would go back to the rear FPS of the P4a and the other such Pixels. In fact I wouldn't complain if the P7 series used the same back material used on the P6a which would allow the return of the back FPS. Couple that with Face Unlock I think the Pixel 7s would have an unbeatable unlocking combination.

Yes to both the above posts. Rear FPS just seems more natural when picking up the phone, and the rear FPS is quicker and more accurate than the front FPS technologies.

I prefer the front scanner. Can unlock while on a desk, and less accidental unlocking everytime I handle the device.

OH MAN a Face Unlock and rear fingerprint sensor combination would be PERFECT!

A slightly larger screen on the Pro is good...these tired eyes need more real estate

The 6 pro with a case on it is all my pocket is comfortable holding. I hope they eventually stabilize the size of the pro line... they can't keep making them bigger forever..... can they? LoL. Maybe they'll start including a new way to carry them, a man purse, backpack, fold out wheels, personal phone carrying assistant?

Or just ask your wife to tote it.

I hear ya. I'm coming from a Pixel 5 so I'm looking forward to a larger screen. I've actually been looking at the S22 Ultra the last couple days...I may not wait for October (ducks)

I bet he gets a lot of compliments carrying your purse.

I'm guilty of asking her to carry things in her purse for me occasionally... but I make her do all the heavy lifting  ;)

What happened to the days of the Gentleman lol. Honestly though her purse just doesn't usually color coordinate with what I'm wearing :D :p

A curious thought comes to mind. Anyone remember how apparently the Pixel 5 had some test units with Tensor Chips (based on kernel device tree files)? I wonder if the Pixel 7 Pro protype was running the stuff we'd expect (new under display fingerprint sensor, new main shooter and maybe other odds and ends) but was powered by Tensor 1. It'd explain the A55's that were in it and would arguably be a useful tool for Google to use to try and troubleshoot bugs with the 6 series, a new scanner and Android 13.....

This is a very good theory. I feel like I remember something about "Kernel" from last year. Good point!
