Agree I'm hoping they get the overheating/getting hot fixed

Although I know it’s an issue not once did I get overheating on my P7P and current Fold … I will say both are not as good for reception as my other phones …that’s my major gripe

Funny my Pixel Fold hasn't overheated but maybe in time that's what happened with my 7pro it didn't overheat until later on maybe with updates it did something

Still very happy with my P6P and not sure the 8 pro will offer that many improvements for my usage. If there's an excellent trade in given for my 6 pro, then I might bite.

Realized the issue three betas ago, reinstalled Android 13 and no problem on the Fold

I've had the issue on the Android 13 too unfortunately both phones were behind my Samsung and iPhone

The plan is to go Pixel 8 Pro from the Pixel 6.

I think I read that's a little down the road. I don't even think that's gonna be the Pixel 9 series. I could be wrong.

Dang, that's what I'm excited about!

I've learned to never say never, so I won't say a Pixel 8 or 8 Pro isn't in my future ... but it'll have to have a serious game changing upgrade over the 7 Pro for me to pull the trigger*

I'm also happy with my 6 but I'll be upgrading in the new year. I usually do every couple of years.
