I received the December update to my Pixel 9 Pro XL on Verizon this evening, but it did not include the "Limit To 80%" battery charging option. I assume that this may be another instance in which Verizon is delaying the rollout to its subscribers while it tweaks the new feature to meet network requirements. Have others received that feature as part of their December 5 update?

Got it on my P8P. Maybe one of those staggered roll outs.

Apple and others have had this for a while...except better. My wife's apply lets you select whatever % you want. I set hers to 95%. I read it is the last few % that cause the most stress. I guess it is better to lose 20% now than 20% in a few years due to battery wear (assuming you're discharging the battery significantly)...but isn't the Adaptive Battery setting supposed to help with that as well? I would've rather they had a setting to disable "quick charge" for people that only charge overnight. A lot of laptops have that option. Slower charging reduces heat/stress on the battery.

Even if you keep your phone 3,4,5 years , does the maths stack up?

Lose 20% battery every single day for years to gain.... What? A few percent years down the line.
All you have done is swap the loss of 20% round.

Spend £1000+ . Get phone. Turn everything to max. Enjoy.
Otherwise, What's the point.
While I was hoping you would be able to pick the % to stop at (20% loss seems like a lot), I did call a local mobile phone repair company. He quoted me $130 to replace the battery (with genuine Google).
