Pixel notification light?

Do the pixels have a notification light? I can't find any info on it.

Hate to reply to my own post but I did find on googles pixel sight that they do have rgb notification light for optional alerts...is their term.

And its is Native configurable or do you have to do rooting to use it. Wife is looking for a phone that can assign a color to email, voicemail and text messages.

Had to look that up. Yeah, that's what she is looking for. She spends "time" checking her iPhone5 to see who/what/when/where and would like an LED light like my 10. However RGB programmable to specific functions is what I know she really wants.

Yeah, it would be cool if you could just glance down, and say you set emails to be blue - then you know you don't have to reply right away. But if the light is blinking blue and green, then you know a text came in, and you might want to pick it up.

I would think there would be an app for that, but I really don't know. Hopefully someone will chime in. I doubt that level of granularity will be built in though.

As far as i am aware, only the Blackberry can do that out of the box. The Priv the only Android smartphone, i owned some BB10 phones and the Priv, miss that feature, it was really nice to have.

you can use app like light flow to configure it without root.
yes its possible to totally configure it. it works like a charm on my nexus 6p

nothing about led notification light as a nexus 5 have
but i hope so its important and really good to have a led light to know about the app related notification just by seeing the led light.

Tell me you guys are just kidding... no notification light? What even? I really live the led notifications and not having that would surely disappoint many.
