Pixel XL poor speed on WiFi 5G

Anyone else noticing slow speed on 5G? My 2G WiFi speed is great, just what it is supposed to be. But, the 5G is really slow. I have an Arris cable modem/access point.

Just did a speed test on Wi-Fi. 89mb download and 12 mb upload. Way faster them my laptop on Wi-Fi.

If your signal is weak (5GHZ signal has more speed but less strength), it's more than likely due to interference (mostly physical, like distance or walls), to which the 5GHZ signal is very sensitive.

This is with me sitting 6 feet from it. And full signal.

Just pulled 200mbps+ down on my pixel. Doubt it's the phone. When in doubt, restart.

Hm.. How are other 5ghz devices in your house? I recently got Google Wifi and the 5ghz works amazing in my house. Near the router (or on that side of the house) I get the below speeds. Across the house about 200/200.

Eagerly waiting for my Google WiFi too, I have gigabit and $300 Asus is choking at 200 Max from right next to router.. Hoping Google WiFi solves it.
