Pixel XL still on Oreo 8.0.0

My Pixel XL is still running Oreo 8.0.0, I thought there was supposed to be an update to 8.1.0 on Dec. 5? Everytime I check for a system update it says I'm running the latest version which is the Nov. 5 security patch. I even signed up for the Beta update program but I've never received an OTA update, anybody else have this problem? I wonder if they're still working out bugs and that's why I haven't received it yet? It's a Google Unlocked version, on Verizon.

Is there a way to download it over the USB cable rather than wait for the OTA version?

I have the 2XL and was stuck on 8 until about a week ago. I had even enrolled in the Beta the week prior hoping to speed things up and it wasn't actually until I unenrolled that the update finally showed up.

I had an update issue like that when I was on Project Fi. I fixed it putting my SIM card in my old Nexus 6, booting it up and setting the SIM up for Fi. I then turned it off and put it back in my Pixel XL.

You should have 8.1 and Dec security. I'm on a Verizon mvno and I got the update a while ago. Mine is the google version, not the Verizon version

My OG Pixel XL is still running Nov. 5th security patch. On ATT. I was originally in the beta program. I unenrolled, factory reset (3 times) and it's still showing that I'm on the beta and running "up to date software". I've contacted support several times and they assure me that a stable version is coming. Figured it would be here by now especially if January Security patch is here.

You won't get 8.1 as long as you're enrolled in the beta. You need to unenroll.
