Play Store and many other apps suddenly dissapear

Hi everyone,

I just woke up this morning to find that many of my apps, including the Play Store, are missing from my phone. I haven't downloaded any new apps recently or visited any different websites on it either. Does anyone know what caused this? I'm going to try doing a factory reset and see if that helps. I tried plugging it into the computer and it isn't recognized by Double Twist(one of the apps that is missing, mac user). Thanks,

Update: Doing the factory reset worked and I am had to re-downloading apps one by one and am going through all the manual setups to get things back to normal. This almost makes me want to root/download Titanium Backup. Anyone know of a good root method for mac users on ICS?

You didnt have to factory reset. All thos apps are on the sd card. Move them over to the phones internal memory and it will show again. Also this will speed up the user interface if all apps are on internal. Dont believe me try it.

I face this problem too...
all apps disappear ... include google play store and other google apps.
very strange ...
I've check the accounts in setting ... only the google account left ... samsung account also disappear...
...
don't know it's related to the samsung push service failure which remove all my apps ...
... anyways, I've to reset it to factory default finally :-X
