Playing over cell data?

I just got this phone after switching from a blackberry key2. The picture shows the message I get when I open this game. I've never played over wifi, always over cell data. Is there a setting I'm missing that i need to change?

Are you able to play without difficulty? If so, then I wouldn't worry about it.

it doesn't load at all. it stays on the screenshot I posted.

Several games i have require a large download after they install or after the game has a significant update. The game developers know many users are on limited data plans and often require you to be on WIFI to download the files. There have also been options for me to "allow" this download or update over cellular. My guess is, the developer is requiring this download to happen over wifi on purpose.
Once its downloaded and installed you should be able to play it over cellular like normal.

Try opening your Play Store app, tapping Menu>Settings>App Download Preference, and select Over Any Network.
