Pleasantly Surprised!

Hi Air Force,

Someone need to make an extended case that is worth buying quick, don't they read the forums? I wish I knew how to make cases, I would make a fortune lol.
Hi Lovy...

Seido is working on several... we're just waiting for them to be released :):

seidioonline.com

As to whether they are worth buying is still open. I've never been a huge fan of Seido cases but these may be pretty cool.

I am not so keen on cases as it adds bulk to the phone and I don't want to walk around with a huge bulge in my pocket. I am very paranoid about using a holster as I fear the possibility of the phone falling off the holster or someone in public snatching it from the holster.... LOL

I don't like holsters either. Either it falls off(my blackberry did all the time) or I get hung up on something while walking and it gets yanked off.

Plus let's face it holsters look a little goofy anyway. :D

Hi All,

I think im paranoid lol, but when I press down a little on the extended battery case I hear a soft clicking sound as if the case is not on properly but it looks as if it is, is this normal? or should I take it off and put in on again

It's normal, mine does it and I've seen many complaints about it.

Hi Prakash,

I would love to know how your stock battery is responding once you begin using it again:)

Okay, I switched back to stock battery and now I wish I hadn't. I took it off the charger at 100% at 10:45 and now an hour of moderate to slightly heavy use later, I'm down to 65%..... :(

EDIT: It's 2:26am and the battery level is stuck at 99% for the last 50 minutes - while plugged in to the charger all time.

2:28am: it just turned 100%... after 50 minutes! Weird, huh?

I picked up the extended battery a few days ago and I love it, wish I would have done it sooner. But man these random reboots still drop 10-25% of my battery.

So I unplugged my phone at 2:30 am and now two hours later, with an awake time of 1 hr 05 mins, I went from 100% to 76% on stock battery.
I wonder if rooting and flashing custom ROM and removing bloatwares will help improve battery life. But I don't want to root until we get Gingerbread.

Man, my extended battery door creaks somethin' fierce. It's the main reason I don't use it as my daily driver. I only whip out the 2750 when I know I'm going to need it (traveling, etc.).

That's ridiculous, I am enjoying the extended battery, basically forgot about stock and don't intend to go back to it.

Hi Mlp,

My door creaks as well but it is a soft creaking sound only when I press against it, nothing that can annoy me, I enjoy the extended battery so much I just wish I got it as soon as I started having these crazy battery problems, it would have saved me from many headahes. My random reboots basically stopped I hope I didn't speak too soon lol.

Maybe it looks good and last longer but I believe Htc releases phones with weak batteries and this force some people to spend more money when the correct one should come with a $ 600 cell phone.

Sent from my HTC Thunderbolt.

I agree. And why make a HUMP BACK battery? Why not just make the whole phone slightly THICKER and give us good battery life from the get-go.

I would rather have the OPTION of a THINNER battery that only lasts for 2-3 hours of usage and a STANDARD battery that lasts all day........I guess no one would BUY the thinner battery!!

My bet is, the first manufacture that can deliver a stock droid smart phone that can be heavily used all day on a single charge (without buying a second battery) will take over the market?? even if it's Sprint!!

I just wish the battery door also even ed out the top of the phone to match the thickness of the battery obviously not possible with the bottom because of the kickstand. ....
