Android Central Question

If somebody finds my lost phone, in theory, they could call my wife's phone since she is an emergency contact. However, the process is so unintuitive and complex that most casual owners of Android phones would not figure it out and others never would.

On my phone, I added instructions to the lock screen, but they are so long that on my wife's phone they get truncated to the point of uselessness.

If found, swipe up, press "Emergency", "View Emergency Info", call my wife.

There should be a better and much simpler way to call my emergency contacts from my locked phone.

You're overcomplicating things. My lockscreen message is just "Call (number I want them to call)" I have faith that anyone seeing it will understand what it means.

Similar to fuzzylumpkin, my lockscreen message is my name and my workplace operator. My hope would be that if anyone ever found my phone and saw the lockscreen, they would call that number, reach the operator, and say they found the phone, mentioning my name.
