i have updated both moto 360 and google play music app.

i went to settings on goolge play music and check download to andriod wear.

i see my music but i dont see a download option to download the music to the moto 360
it is not on the drop list...

what am i doing wrong?
is my music files suppose to be stored in a certain place.
is music only from the google store able to work?

It appears the watch only downloads what you've downloaded to your phone from Google Play (subject to 4GB, of course). Since I'm in an area with only 3G coverage, I tend to download a lot of music to my phone. I wish I could select which music I wanted to move to the watch. In any event, this all be moot for me now, as this really sucks up battery.

Oh ok.. Yea I have no music from Google play as all my music are from other sources. Are there any free tracks In google play to download so I can try this feature? I hope google fixes this.. I kinda miss my Samsung gear neo as that worked seamless and easy..

Ok got some free tracks on Google play music store.. Now I'm having trouble getting them on the moto. I hit the download button but it does not transfer to the moto.. It just show the track being download to the phone.

Yes I have check my settings back up to wear...

Download the songs to your phone and when you get ready to go to bed, hit the download to watch option, put watch and phone to charge next to each other and they will be loaded when you wake up.

The one thing I hate is not able to shuffle all songs but rather one artists songs at a time.

Thanks, woke up with music in moto. Wondering if I would have to do this all the time or is there a certain charge percentage before music transfers..

Music played through Bluetooth headphone doesn't drain as bad as I thought it would. That's great.

What about us? The poor souls who don't have google play music in our country?

That's a great questions.. How do you get music off the moto. Is there some kind of file explorer for the moto?

Since everything seems automated, I'm guessing if you uncheck the Download to Wear, it'll remove the songs.

I'm wondering how often it updates. For me, it seemed to put 2 dozen albums from my most recent list.

So far it's a great start. They need to flesh it out a little more. But this is exactly what I wanted when I saw those iPod Nano watches and the fools with the earphones plugged into their wrists.

Just for those that are still looking to play with this or future readers of this post, there is a write-up on how to get music on and off of the moto 360 on sister site Connectedly HERE .
