Please Help with WebTop hack

Hi have been trying to do the webtop hack for about 2 weeks now with no luck. Iam rooted on 1.2.6.(just flashed back last night because I thought that might be the problem) but also tried on rooted.1.83. I have tried using CWM to flash the gingerblur-bloatware.zip packake, that was.succe i ssful in CWM mode, but when I connected to HDMI I didn't see the webtop option. I have also tried flashing the other CWM zip I think it was called" CWM att1.2.6.zip" or something found it on xda, that prodeced errors in CWM
mode. I have also tried manually installing the apk. Webtop files I found in the gingerblur thread, I downloaded but got errors when installing. Also tried the ADB method but I ran the first 2 commands and it came back with the error " cannot find portal/ dock file"? It seems everyone is having a easy time installing the.webtop hack but me. Can someone please help me.get this webtop working. Thanks

If you want to use the stock ROM, use RSD lite and flash 8.3. Then run gingerbreak and gladenable for root and sideloading. Then just run the script for the webtop hack here.

I never used gingerblur because it's not really gingerbread, just an AOSP gingerbread theme on top of Froyo. As a result, I'm not 100% about this, but I understand that the above link script will not work with that ROM.
