Plume app destroying my Note 4's battery

I love Plume (third party Twitter app), but it's constantly sitting at the very top of my battery usage - usually 17 to 20 percent, more than the OS itself! I've tried force closing the app and everything but Plume just sits at the top of usage still. Please help...anything I can do other than uninstalling?

Or check out Clean Master's Autostart Manager in Phone Boost section and see if it is there!

I installed Greenify and thought it was maybe helping, but now I'm seeing that when Greenify "hibernates" Plume, it's not tracking all of the tweets in my timeline! It'll go from tweets from 3 hours ago promptly to 2 minutes ago. I'm missing a bunch of stuff in my timeline. Boo.
