So I was at the park all day with my new addiction playing Pokemon go.... So we're about 50 other people.. It was great.. Young, old, kids, married couples, families.. Etc... And I got smart and took my 4 fully charged spare battles and cradle charger. And boy was it a great move so many people came and had to leave in couple hours to "charge there phone" they all envied me just swapping batteries and gettting the rare spawns they missed. Even the guy with the battery pack didn't last much longer as the phone drains quicker than it charges with Pokemon go munching on batteries.. Lol... Love this game, the number of people playing it, and I really love my phone with spare batteries

How often do you normally have to switch

Re: Pokemon go,,,, god less removable spare batteries

Normally 4-5 hours.. Pokemon go every 2 hours.. I am getting a second cradle charger .. cradle takes 4 hours to charge.. so have 2 charges charging batteries as I am using 2 batteries lol

I refuse to allow things to own me.

... I am so envious, as I am in Canada, waiting painstakingly for Pokémon Go to come to Google Play... :P.

Yeah I've noticed it quite the battery hog. I can only imagine how much mobile data it eats too. Makes my phone run so hot I can barely touch the screen too. Does yours do that?

Any and All phones run hot with this game.. especially in the full sunlight.. max screen brightness, GPS, and camera.. I had to pull my back cover to keep it from shutting down.. everyone was pulling off phone cases lol..

I'm glad it's not just me then.

Indeed! I just stuck my spare batteries in my arm holster for my phone. Removable batteries aren't dead yet!

I'd get a spare battery if it wasn't for the fact that LG doesn't have them in stock right now. I'd get from Amazon but LG as far as I know still has the battery+cradle bundle for $20 which is cheaper than ordering both from Amazon.

Hey RyaanJohn..in that case Sam-Gs7 doesn't qualify to play this game.
I've no Spare battery..unless I get a SGs7-E,.Huum no way I won't
install that PokeGo app.. who Knows buggy my charger: N/A

why all the swapping of batteries? Just get a single large battery pack and keep the phone plugged in.

I don't think I could play this game without a second battery. It eats up battery so fast that even plugged into my quick charge 2.0 car charger it only just breaks even while plugged in...and it keeps giving me a charging has stopped due to high temp warning. The game is way too much fun to not play though.

For some reason the lg phones wont charge if you are doing something battery intensive. I've even seen the battery go down.

Multiple batteries is the only reason I can keep the v10. It's perfect except battery/power management
