It is made this way. The iPhone 4s does the same thing. No defect with the phone.

yeah, I have a rattle when I shake the crap outa the MoPho. But, I never hear the rattle, because I don't shake the crap outa my MoPho constantly.....

i had a motorola defy and the autofocus sound was pretty loud. i think we have the same thing(autofocus sound)here.
