I finally got fed up, called a nearby staples, and they had em readily available with no preorder.. Drove over picked it up, bank accounts empty so google can no longer charge me. How many other people went the route of "canceling" and going retail and who stuck in there?

I also just got mine from staples. Driving back home now. I will refuse shipment as soon as I get a tracking number.

I was thinking about that, its a debit with no overdraft, I figure theyll just deny it, might there be a fee? And even if so, 20$ fee, thats about the price of shipping and I'm done playing with google so its worth it.

Was going to refuse shipment, but the one I got from Staples was hardcore defective (left side screen rise, ghosting, etc.) so now I'm back to waiting on my shipment. Oh well.

I didn't cancel mine and I don't plan too. I am pretty pissed since I ordered on announcement day and my credit card was charged Friday and I haven't gotten any shipping status. Sat on hold for an hour to talk to a Google Rep who basically said hopefully it will ship by Friday thank you for being loyal and blah blah blah. I said thanks for being absolutely no help and hung up. It kills me I called the local Sam's club they said they have some in stock but were told they couldn't sell them until told otherwise. I think Google should just send me a Nexus Q too and we will call it even. Oh well good luck to you all and hopefully your experience hasn't been as horrible as mine.

exactly what I did, empty bank account, pre-ordered from gamestop with credit, and was able to get one from gamestop that someone did not pick up.

The waiting wasn't a big deal to me; I stuck with my Google Play order.

My 16 GB one was waiting for me when I got home from work today (I ordered June 27th).
