I'm going with 3 batteries - 2 regular and 1 extended. Most days I'll only need one, but when I travel the 3 batteries will help a lot. I only paid $25 for my extended battery and $21 for the extra battery and charger - totally worth it at those prices.

By the way you can buy those Chinese GN batteries for dirt cheap. I saw them on EBay for 3 batteries and a battery charger for under $15 including shipping. I bet they don't have a NFC chip, but I bet they work (not as well as Samsung battery). I bought 2 batteries and the charger from China on E-bay for my Droid X 18 months ago and the batteries worked. It was worth it for the charger alone, which worked great with all my Droid X batteries. Those China batteries didn't last nearly as long as regular batteries and my Droid X could not tell how much juice was in them. I only used them a few times in an emergency like when I went camping and needed juice beyond my main two batteries. Anyways it couldn't hurt to have them around for those "just in case moments" like the power is out for a long time/super long plane ride ...etc considering how cheap they are.

Bought the extended. I'll use that as my everyday battery, so I guess that makes the stock my backup.

I'll be doing the same I guess since I bought an extended battery from Verizon and it didn't come with a charger! Seems crazy to have to charge them in your phone!

How are you charging them? I didn't see a charger on Verizon or Amazon?

Right now I've got the one that came with the phone and one extended battery. I think that's all I'll need, since I'm typically somewhere around a charger all day or at least not away from one long enough to worry about dying. I can get 10-12 hours out of the stock battery easily.

I bought two extended at the price of $25 each. Three total. I figure "why not?" since this is going to be the phone I keep for at least a year.

With Google Location Services, GPS, and Location Services disabled my phone consistently gets 30+ hours of battery life in a 3g area. If I was 4g I'd expect around 20-24 hours on the stock battery. As of now there is no need for me to buy extra or the extended battery.

I vote zero. My battery life is good. Over eight hours and 47% left. Moderate. Full gps and services, bright screaming screen.

zero = 1 in this poll - I messed up the title of the thread, but the question is how many batteries do you plan to have for your GN. If you have zero, you can't use your GN :)

Rocking 4 batteries. 1 is on a charger on my desk at work. 1 is on a charger in my car, 1 is fully charged in my dash in my car waiting to be used, and then the 1 in my phone.

The 4th battery & charger combo I got was a Verizon goof but I'll enjoy it.

Keeping it in your car is probably not a good idea. Batteries do not do well in heat.

Makes sence because my nexus came with one. Zero <1 new poll!

Just 1 extended battery here. Haven't even taken the stock battery out o the plastic.

I don't want to buy a battery until the stock battery dies. I plan on carrying the charger around with me and if I am running low I will go into airplane mode to conserve until I get to AC.

Though I am getting more than a day of battery life fromy GN with the standard battery, I bought one extended battery for $25. I think that should be enough. In fact, I wish that the extended battery were the standard battery which comes with the phone..... :p
